I have a wife, two kids, and two dogs. I had been tent camping all my life until we got a travel trailer in 2013. We added a bunch of accessories to it including an outdoor shower, heavy duty drawers, electric powered awning, and 130 watts of solar. In 2016 we upgraded to a much larger trailer, so we now have our first trailer available to rent out. For camping near Albuquerque, it's hard to beat Jemez; on popular weekends it can get pretty packed in some areas, but during the week or during the school year, the is lots of space and not many people around at all. When we have time, we enjoy heading several hours North to Blanco River Campground south of Pagosa Springs in Colorado for privacy in a beautiful valley with a small river. At least once a year we head a couple hours North to Lake Abiquiu with water and electric hookups and nearby lake, playground, & showers.
