Still in Becker County, but outside the city 10 minutes away in Audubon, Minnesota, you can park at Leaf Lake RV Park. This scenic park has a gorgeous location with both lake and beach access along with volleyball, and basketball courts. It’s a beautiful spot to stage your vacation journeys with resources not too far away. Another option is Pelican Hills RV Park located near Pelican Rapids around 30 minutes to the south. This RV park has seasonal sites and a solid list of amenities to make it worth a look.

While this area won't amaze you with the bright lights and adrenaline you might find in a more metropolitan area, Detroit Lakes has a lot to offer RV renters who can appreciate a more quiet and nature intensive form of entertainment. Tubing is an excellent way to spend your day as you drift down one of the area’s many bodies of water. Nature lovers should enjoy visiting local greenhouses and orchards for the varieties of vegetation. For the shoppers, check out the local flea market and antiques mall for some interesting souvenirs that would be hard to find anywhere else.
