2004 Monaco Monarch
30 ft. long
2004 Monaco Monarch
We just got back from a 5 week trip. This RV is wonderful. It has only 13,500 miles. We purchased it last spring and have replaced the awning, all the batteries and fixed all cabinet doors, which apparently fall open because you are driving in a 4.0 earthquake. But everything is great now and with the 2 slide outs and a Yakima bike rack, we had a great time in 3 states. We love it. it's big enough, but not too big. It can go more parks because it is the smallest class A at 30 ft. The bath is roomy with a skylight over the shower and you can walk all the way around the queen bed. I couldn't even fill up all the storage areas both in and under and I thought it wouldn't have enough room. It was better than we even imagined when shopping for an RV.

We are relative newbies to RV-ing, but have caught the bug. We first dry camped at the Darrington Bluegrass Festival for our very first trip and we learned a lot. Other RV-er's are very happy to give you advice and tips. We loved it and then we went on a 5 week trip through 3 states. It was a great experience and we will probably want to do it again. We don't travel with pets or kids as we are newly retired. We loved staying at Bodega Bay Dunes at the Sonoma State Park. Met so many nice new people and started Boondocking at Boondockers Welcome and met some more wonderful people. RV-ing is an overall great experience, we highly recommend it.
